Performance Engineer - Customer Support
NeuCo is seeking to hire Engineers to join our growing team and work out of our Customer Support Center, in Mentor, Oho. The primary responsibility for this role will be to maintain NeuCo’s suite of products and to work with customers to help them achieve maximum possible benefits from using NeuCo’s products. This position is based in our Mentor, OH office.
Requirements:
- Provide customer support and problem resolutions for various optimization products within the scope of a typical Customer Support and Services Agreement
- Conduct periodic benefits analyses and ensure that all installations continue to provide benefits for all customers
- Lead training demos for existing and potential customers either on-site site or at the Customer Support Center
- Must have ability to multi-task across multiple open issues and manage/prioritize own time; must be able to work as a team player
- Maintain regular customer contact and manage customer expectations
- Occasional travel (< 25% ) for training and onsite troubleshooting for customer issues
- Other work as needed
Qualifications:
- BS (ME, EE or ChE), with 1-5 years of experience
- Strong computer and technical skills, with hands-on experience working with software packages used in various process industries
- Aptitude to learn applicable software and hardware as needed
- Some knowledge of boiler operations, combustion, and soot blowing operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of modeling steady state and/or real-time industrial systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with instrumentation & control systems (e.g. Bailey, Westinghouse, Foxboro)
- Interpersonal skills
