Partner Spotlight: Black & Veatch
In 1999, NeuCo and Black & Veatch formed a partnership that merges the core competencies of two industry leaders into an integrated set of products, technologies and expertise. Black & Veatch provides engineering domain expertise integral to optimization product development, and a range of services that extend the solution scope to address equipment, fuels, performance, reliability and O&M issues. This is completed through a combination of support/configuration services, remote performance management services, and the development of customized extensions to existing applications. The NeuCo – Black & Veatch partnership ensures that facilities are not just getting the best IT products, but also getting the best business solutions by extracting the most from their technology investments, integrating those investments with their business processes, and verifying that the benefits are sustained over time. Partner Spotlight: United States Department of Energy:
NeuCo and the Department of Energy (“DOE”) have partnered to bring to market software solutions that serve the DOE’s strategic goal of ensuring that US generators can produce abundant, reliable and affordable electricity in an environmentally friendly way. NeuCo has been awarded two cost-shared DOE technology development and demonstration projects totalling $35M as part of DOE's Clean Coal Power Initiative (CCPI). The CCPI is a ten-year, $2 billion presidential initiative to improve coal-based generation’s emissions, efficiency, maintainability and asset life and bolster the long-term viability of the United States’ abundant coal resources. Read more about the NeuCo's CCPI Round 1 and CCPI Round 2 projects at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) website.
